Just been out shopping and spent more than I planned to in a greyhound rescue charity shop... but I have an absolutely kick-arse new set of speakers for Charlotte. Only cost me £5 and they're a million times better than the ones I paid £8 for when I first set Charlotte up here. I think I could take them up to half of their maximum volume before the neighbours lynched me

Also bought a brand new, thicker, neon-pink long line for Squish, and a massive quantity of fresh beef bones - three huge leg bones cut into sections and two bags of assorted smaller bones - from the butcher. Lugging it all back to Mum's on the bus was a bit of a trial, but such happy munching dogs I have now...

Pigeons...
Suddenly it stops. Well, glides a while... Where must it go? It had new instructions, but it has mislaid them... But there is memory ( we'll go with Hugin and Munin in the flavour of this posting). Taking its bearings in that strange avian manner that birds do ( bears taking their bearings in an avian manner would be simply silly!), it sets its flight. Maggie may be able to help... she will hold the... the thing... for the chosen one...
