Oddly, I found that waxing my armpits hurt a lot more than my crotch. But everyone's pain tolerance is different - mine has always been on the high side, plus there's that being a masochist thing.

Well, the pit (I've only done one side so far, get the other later tonight) was all right when I actually did it. But it's giving me a dull ache right now, an hour or so later, that I'm not liking so much. And there seem to be a lot of stragglers left. I may have to pluck those. I think it was too long for the wax to do a really good clean job or something. I haven't used a razor on my pits for years - the itching and razor burn were always really bad there and my husband liked hair anyway. But I fully intend to get laid and/or take more naked pics fairly soon, and I'd just as soon not startle people with the fur...
From what I've heard, it's common to get stragglers even when the pros do it, anywhere it's done. You could have the random hair here and there that doesn't grow in the same direction as the other bunch does.

This is why I was so happy to be married to a man who liked hairy. But I've decided it's a thing I'd rather not spring on any possible new partners, so off it goes...
