3. My favourite virtual petsite is back to (almost) full functionality after several days of unbelievably frustrating glitches. (Said petsite, Subeta, is pretty much never entirely functional. However, its all-round shinyness and the outstanding helpfulness of its staff make it worth putting up with the odd bit of glitchery.)

4. I woke this morning from a dream in which I was a great cat, stalking prey through long grass on some plain somewhere with the sun shining. I never actually saw the prey animals, and I woke up before anything exciting happened, but it was glorious.

5. The Song of Solomon. So absurd, and yet so evocative.

6. Last, but so very not least: My dogs and my cats. Today they are healthy, happy and shiny. Cassie snuggles on my head while I sit at the computer. Spike slept for some time curled up on my feet. Squish acts as my legrest in bed, and Naamah comes and plays tag with my hand while I sit on the toilet. They make me happy every day.
