Agh, I hate doing this to people, but seeing this has me in floods of tears here.

Can any of you afford to give them something?
I can't. I can barely feed the ones I have here, the lives that by the grace of [higher power of your choice] have never gone through anything like this.
They could have done, so easily. The gypsies that sold Squish could have sold him to anyone. they could have failed to sell him and dumped him somewhere. The family they sold him to could have refused to give him to Dave who gave him to me. Cassie's owners could have decided not to bother bringing her here and just shut her outside. Spike's owners could have decided against taking the trouble to drop him off at the Dogs Trust.
I'm not saying I feel I've done enough. I'm just saying I've done all I can. If anyone reading this can do any more, I'll be so happy.
