...urgh.

Yesterday I said these things come in threes... they do. Squish rushed back to me with a ball which he spat out at me. I bent down to pick it up. Squish couldn't stop fast enough and his head hit my orbital ridge like the irresistible force hitting the immovable, though not necessarily unbreakable object.

Now I have a huge lump just above my eye. I'm clutching a pack of frozen dogfood to it, but I expect it'll be beautifully purple and yellow just in time for the London meet-up.

Perhaps I need to explain to them that they won't inherit their own place if they kill me...

hershey was almost as naughty today; she would NOT settle down at the vet's office and nearly yanked my arm out of the socket. and she kept freaking out because her feet were touching the linoleum and she doesn't like it so she was trying to walk on her nails and falling...

i probably shouldn't have been laughing.

Heh. You should see Spike on the linoleum in the hallway when I take him out...his legs go like the clappers but he doesn't move any faster, poor lad - like Wile E. Coyote after he runs off a cliff :D

nothing major. she had to get her shots and her eyes are a bit inflamed; the vet said it's either conjunctivitis or she may have gotten some dust in them. i now get to experience the joy of giving the dog eyedrops! i don't know which of us is going to hate it more, me or her. he also confirmed my theory that her ass is getting bigger every year. apparently, she takes after her mum (me).

of course, i took her to petco after where she was mobbed by tons of overly affectionate sproggen, so she's considering forgiving me for taking her to the vet. maybe.
