I just found a lump on Spike's right inner thigh while I was giving him a belly rub. It's very small, hardish and moves around under the skin. Vet's appointment on Friday afternoon.

I know, rationally, that it's more likely to be something minor and harmless than not, but please send any good thoughts you can spare. The thought of anything happening to Spike leaves me unstrung.

I know! I'd heard she was better than anyone expected in that Chaucer adaptation she did before Doctor Who, but I never expected her to be this good. She's fantastic and gorgeous.
