It's a kind thought! But I couldn't settle to reading. And porn is just going to drive me nuts. I need to feel warm flesh under my fingernails. Warm flesh that's not mine, that is.
Meant it as a lament that you wouldn't get it (having not seen the movie) . . . (and, yes, partially to whore the fics; I am sneaky and underhanded that way) . . . here's wishing you either some warm flesh to feel, or for the need for it to silence itself until said flesh shows up (at which point in time it's free to return with a vengeance).
Under other circumstances I might enjoy watching the Eurovision Song Contest, which it's been displaced by - but you really need a group of drunk friends for that to be fun. And I have shitloads of friends, but none of them are HERE. Most annoying.
Oh great. If it were here on network TV, it would be like being displaced by American Idol, a similar program. (rubs temples in frustration) Ai-yi-yi...
Well, Eurovision is only once a year, and instead of being individual young hopefuls, they're each representing a country. So there are always all these political undercurrents, like certain countries never give each other points even if the entry is really good. And there are always a lot of really funny entries, because Europeans are better at humour than Americans. And there's Terry Wogan, who's marvellous fun and a national institution... it is a lot of fun to watch. But not a thing to download and watch alone on the computer, which is how I do most of my watching.
I lurk occasionally, but I've effectively stopped posting. We do have an LJ community that the date could have been posted in; if anyone had done that I might have found out in time to show up. I really would have liked to.
