I have no solutions; better get used to it

This is a hard, hard meme to do because I'm a vacillating fandom whore with the attention span of a gnat and the memory of a crack-addled goldfish. But I have to post something so you know I aten't dead.

1) Post a list of up to 20 books/movies/anime/TV shows/video games/bands [fannish etc.] that you've had an obsessive fannish love or interest in at some time in your life.

2) Have your f-list guess your favourite character/member from each item.

3) When someone guesses correctly, strikethrough the item and put the name of your favorite character next to it.



1. Doctor Who - canonical supporting cast. Non-Doctor characters that appeared in the TV series ONLY. I thought of subdividing further into old-school and post-2005, but nah. There are at least two answers I'll accept as correct though.

2. Doctor Who - Doctors. In order for this not to be too pissily easy, there are two and I want them both. Eight - purplewaxhand yay!

3. Doctor Who spinoffs and derivatives, canonical, televised and otherwise. Um, there are a bunch of people I'll give you a point for. Just thinking about it makes me feel I ought to subdivide further, but this is getting silly.

4. Farscape. Series and miniseries only, since to my sorrow I have yet to put my hands on any of the comics. IT'S ON MY LIST, RIGHT? Captain Bialar Crais. hopefulnebula FTW.

5. Star Trek. Yes, I could subdivide but when I think of the entire set of series-es I still only come up with two characters I love that hard. See if you can get both, and if any of my old TrekBBS buddies fail this I shall be disappointed. James T. Kirk, Gul Dukat. A bunch of you guessed XD

6. Babylon 5. Londo Mollari. mwenyekischaa is in my brain :D

7. Buffy and spinoffs. Half a point for any of several people I love that aren't the one I was thinking of. Spike. Transparent? Moi? ambersaigh and mcsassypants score.

8. Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy. Pick any incarnation you like, the answer's the same.

9. Spooks. There are two names I'll accept. Ruth - moviegrrl

10. Life on Mars and/or Ashes to Ashes. Gene Hunt, natch - moviegrrl

11. Discworld. - Nanny Ogg, score one for Starfish XD

12. Boston Legal. DENNY CRANE, obv. Blaidd knew XD

13. Bones.

14. 2000AD - Because I had to throw something in there no one will know XD Halo Jones - trust watervole to prove me wrong XD

15. Andromeda. Despite the fact that I've been unable to make myself watch past season three, there were still loveworthy characters in there. PICK ONE.

16. LEXX. SQUISH. I was actually thinking of Xev (not Zev) but one cluster lizard's much like another. HAI ,mwenyekischaa

I've left Supernatural out because there are three characters I find myself incapable of choosing between, and in a show with relatively few main/recurring characters that just ends up being silly again. But you can have a bonus point for getting all three.
