Now that I've caught up on this week's TV, I have one thing to say: it's a sad and strange day when the start of SPN's new season blows the Who finale out of the water on my squee meter.

Reading my f-list today, I am SO GLAD I never started watching Lost.

...and now I'm off to watch the Ashes to Ashes finale. I'M SCARED.

This is a hard, hard meme to do because I'm a vacillating fandom whore with the attention span of a gnat and the memory of a crack-addled goldfish. But I have to post something so you know I aten't dead.

1) Post a list of up to 20 books/movies/anime/TV shows/video games/bands [fannish etc.] that you've had an obsessive fannish love or interest in at some time in your life.

2) Have your f-list guess your favourite character/member from each item.

I am not dead and do not plan to be any time soon. Though I could add that there are no mirrors in my flat either.


bizarrely, immersing myself in Supernatural has increased my fannishness all round and started me rewatching babylon 5, partly for the thematic elements it has in common with Supernatural but mostly just because I love the characters.

and also rewatching Farscape, which Supernatural does not remind me of at all but I never need a reason nor an excuse to watch farscape.

I really wanted to write an intelligent fangirly post about all three, and particularly (for fs_rewatch) about watching someone else's reaction to the first time of seeing Farscape, which is a particularly joyous experience.

but I have had the headache from hell for the best part of a week now and I can only manage articulacy in short bursts. bleh.

A meme! But it's a meme that requires me to put some thought into replying, so I'll let me off even if it is a bit uninspired of me. Here goes:

She went with an all-female team. I'm going for... well, I'm not too sure how I'd describe them. But it's going to be interesting. I've also slightly bent one of the meme rules. But that's the kind of team we are.
